労働法違反: AppleとFoxconnの雇用実態
Apple and its production contractor, Foxconn, have violated Chinese labor laws.
The largest iPhone factory in Zhengzhou hired too many temporary workers and schoolchildren, as Bloomberg informs.
The investigation has been held by the non-profit group of human rights defenders, China Labor Watch. They found out that the number of temporary employees at the factory in August exceeded 50% instead of the 10% rate.
Apple has already commented on the allegations. The company acknowledged that the temporary staff did exceed the norm.
"The percentage of temporary employees is above our standards," Apple confirmed in its own investigation.
The company also said it is "working closely with Foxconn to address this issue." Foxconn Technology Group also admitted violating Chinese law.
